About Michigan Tigers FC
Michigan Tigers Futbol Club is a new MSYSA- and WSSL-approved soccer organization headquartered in Washtenaw County. The club’s goals include providing quality soccer training by highly qualified, professional coaches. Michigan Tigers FC believes that the best soccer experience calls for an emphasis on player development, constant attention to technical skill development, and placement of teams at appropriate levels so that players experience success and failure in a way that develops confidence. Furthermore, the program promotes the growth of the personal qualities sportsmanship and self-esteem.

What is included in the Michigan Tigers FC program?
- League play in the appropriate league and division (MSPSP, WSSL, House).
- All coaching fees (including the indoor portion of the program).
- Outdoor practices (1.5 hours, 1x-3x per week, depending on age) for the Fall 2008 and Spring 2009 seasons. Fall practices begin in August.
- Participation in 1-4 tournaments over the course of the soccer year, depending on the age and skill level of the team.
(1 for U9 teams; 2 for U10-12 teams; 4 for U13 and older teams)

Michigan Tigers FC also includes the following:
- One week of pre-season training sessions (Mon-Fri evenings) in August for all teams.
- Two sessions (Nov.-Dec. and Jan.-Feb.) of indoor soccer league play at Wideworld Sports Center or Wixom Total Soccer, venue assigned by club depending on age and skill level.
- Indoor training in March & April at Wideworld Sports Center -- includes speed & agility training, technical skills development and footwork practice – to prepare for the spring outdoor season.
- Michigan Tigers FC training t-shirt.
- Michigan Tigers FC soccer ball to use at all practices.
- Free Goalkeeper and Field Player clinics.
All of the above is covered in full by the player fee – all coaching fees, league fees, referee payments, tournament registration fees, indoor league and facility rental fees, and cost of t-shirt and ball – no additional collections during the year for the program as described above.
Fees and payment schedule, 2008-2009: $1150-1795, depending on age group, for the full program -- from August through mid-June -- paid in three installments (June 20, Aug. 31, Nov. 1)
- Note: Uniforms are required and are paid separately from the player fee and due when order is placed. [Uniforms]
Will there be any extra fees?
- Personal travel expenses to attend tournaments. (However, no need to chip in for coaches’ travel.)
- Optional items are offered at extra cost:
- Soccer bag, sweatshirt, warm-ups, additional training t-shirts and balls.
- Futsal training during the winter, as an optional activity and at an extra cost.
- Additional sessions of indoor soccer, if there is team interest and at extra cost.
- Additional tournaments, if there is team interest and at extra cost.
